Video: Polk DB+ car speakers

A durable, great-sounding factory replacement

Polk's DB+ car speakers are a favorite of Crutchfield customers due to their great sound, efficient design, and outstanding durability. They sound great as factory replacements, but can also stand up to more powerful aftermarket amplifiers. Check out these budget beauties in this short video.

Polk DB plus car speakers are a customer favorite due to their great sound, durability, and high power handling. They're quite versatile, too, sensitive enough to play off a factory radio, but also able to run off a powerful amp. Jeep owners love them because they're marine certified and can handle a little splashing.

Compared to most factory speakers, there is no comparison when it comes to sound. The woofer cone is stiff yet lightweight, ensuring you get accurate sound and tight midbass. The silk dome tweeter really shines, giving you the nuanced highs your factory speakers can't.

The surrounds are made of rubber, which lasts a lot longer than foam or cloth surrounds. These speakers should put out great sound for years to come in any car audio system. If you have any questions about car speakers, please give us a call.

Only Jeeps? I put them on a boat but they will work great for motor cycles it's one of few models that have a fair price point that will. I'm confident they will handle direct rain on the cone without problems. These sound really good, As for power handling question it's not that big a deal, what is a big deal is how clean the amp is. I recommend rockford amps with the clip lights setup to the directions power wont be a problem. With my 17 years MECP installing as a paid pro I could set up a system by ear but becuse your doing the install at home without my background the Rockford amp is what you should use. Also use the suggested power wire system made by Rockford it will extend your warranty. Trust me you wont go wrong.

I read that these are 100 RMS/ 300 peak power for as wattage, is that per speaker or the pair together?
