Your portable all-in-one sound system

JBL PartyBox 310

The JBL PartyBox 310 is more than a seriously powerful Bluetooth speaker. It's a light show, karaoke machine, portable PA, and DJ sound system all rolled into one. And you don't even need a roadie. This brawny 38.4-pound speaker has built-in wheels and a telescoping handle — just like a suitcase.

Stream tunes via Bluetooth from your smartphone or tablet. Or plug in a flash drive preloaded with your party mix. And if anyone wants to sing or play along with the music, the PartyBox 310 has two 1/4" jacks for guitar and microphone inputs.

Big sound for big spaces

The PartyBox 310 features two 6-1/2" woofers and two 2-1//2" tweeters for clean, hard-hitting sound. A rear-firing port reinforces the bass. And there's selectable Bass Boost if you want to make your tunes thump even more.

Want bigger sound? You can pair two PartyBox 310 speakers wirelessly for either two-channel stereo or just to double the volume.

Do more with the JBL PartyBox app

With the JBL PartyBox app, you can DJ like a pro. Customize the five light show displays — or kick it into high with the strobe option. You can also match the light show to the genre of the music playing.

The PartyBox 310 also has built-in sound effects, such as an air horn, dog barks, record scratches, cheers, and boos. You can also add your own.

The app can suppress vocals in your music as it plays, making any song a karaoke track. Plus you can adjust bass, treble, and echo in karaoke mode.

Other cool features

There's a built-in slot for your smartphone or tablet. It holds your device securely upright so you can control it with just your fingertips. The top-mounted control buttons have a built-in ambient light sensor. When the light dims, the buttons are backlit.

A pair of 1/4" jacks let you connect two microphones (great for duets). Or use one of the inputs for a guitar instead (great for solo musicians). Each input has its own volume control knob.

Portability and power

The speaker has a built-in rechargeable battery that can deliver up to 18 hours of operation. You can use the speaker's USB port to charge your smartphone or tablet. And the PartyBox 310 comes with a detachable AC power cord, so you can keep the sound and light show going indefinitely.

Q
Can you connect to a jbl Am/fm boat receiver to this box as well???
question man  May 07, 2023
1 answer
A
You can connect with a wired cable, Josh. If your JBL marine receiver has RCA preamp outputs, you can connect with a marine rated aux adapter like the Fusion MS-CBRCA 3.5 input cable in the link below. Using the JBL PartyBox 310 on the water is a fantastic idea for big sound and big fun! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_917BCRCA35/Fusion-MS-CBRCA3-5.html

Q
What cord do I use to charge up my party box; what does it look like?
steven  Mar 20, 2023
1 answer
A
Greetings Steven, and thank you for your question. JBL includes the 2 prong C7 AC power cable. That is also used to charge the Party Box. The included cable would look like this. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120188PSS2/Ethereal-Polarized-Figure-Eight-Power-Cable-2-meters-6-5-feet.html

Q
How can i hear audio through my car stereo speakers and the jbl partybox 310 at the same time?
lou the dew  Feb 11, 2023
1 answer
A
The best way would be using the AUX in on the JBL Partybox 310, with the preamp outputs on an aftermarket radio, Luis. You will not be able to use Bluetooth to pair with both your vehicle and the Partybox at the same time. IF you have an aftermarket radio in place, you can use a breakout cable like the Hosa Stereo mini-to-RCA adapter in the first link below. If you have your factory radio in place, tap-in with the Kicker 46KiSLOC 2-channel line out converter in the second link below in conjunction with the Hosa cable. I hope this helps! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_979CMR210/Hosa-Stereo-Mini-to-RCA-Adapter-Cable-10-foot.html https://www.crutchfield.com/p_20646KILO/Kicker-46KiSLOC.html

Q
I had my bass guitar work for approx 1 hr total time over 2 different sessions on my 310 , now it wont work at all, I've adjusted input gain and volume of the unit and even tried a different bass guitar and a different cord. There is no audible signal being processed by either input jack(s). Is the unit defective ?

Greetings Jeffrey, and thank you for your question. Technical support would be the best to answer your question. If you purchased the PartyBox from Crutchfield there will be a direct to tech number on your shipping confirmation email from us. If you purchased the PartyBox elsewhere, you can also reach out to JBL at 800-336-4525.

Q
Can you pair a 310 with a 710 and have them play same time?
robert  May 29, 2022
1 answer
A
You can link a 310 and a 710 with the daisy chain wired feature no problem, but if you want to use the TWS(true wireless stereo) feature you'll need to pair a 310/310 710/710 and so on. You can also only use a maximum of two speakers when using TWS, but you can use an unlimited number of Partyboxes when using the wired daisy chain feature. I tell you these things really pump too with massive bass!

My party box 310 has yet to give me 18 hours of battery life I've gotten 6 hrs max why?
braulio  Jul 28, 2021

It's rated to last 18 hours at 50% volume. When you play for only 6 hours, are you at full volume? If not, you probably have a bad unit.

Most I have gotten is 8 hours

Can I connect 2 microphones?
gabriela  Jun 25, 2021
2 answers
A
Yes it has the ability for two mics or a mic and guitar
shawn  Jun 25, 2021
A
You can. It should not cause damage at low volume. But the mic plugged into the guitar input would have different volume because the input is setup for guitar impedance not mic impedance. You could also have some feedback if you try cranking up the volume. Excessive feedback is not great for speaker health.

If it doesn't have Bluetooth, you can use a 3.5mm ended cord and plug one end into your headphone jack, and the other end into the Aux in port on the 310 that's in the back.

The speaker only work with bluetooth.

Yes there is an aux port in back.

It has a Aux that you can plug into. Not sure if an iPhone has a plug. Basically you need a male end on both ends of the cord for it to work. But yes you can .
