Overview: The Garmin Portable Fishing Kit includes a variety of accessories for carrying your compatible Striker or echoMAP fishfinder/transducer combos. The kit includes a sturdy base with a mount for your device and a caddy for the included battery. Also included is a suction cup mount and float for your transducer. A rigid handle makes it easy to carry your gear to your favorite fishing spot. Everything (including your fishfinder and transducer) fits nicely in the included zippered storage bag.
Accessories Included: The Portable Fishing Kit includes the following accessories:
- Base with handle: The 10" diameter base is made of rigid molded plastic with a compartment made for the included battery. The handle can be easily attached to the base with the included hardware. (Phillips screwdriver required) Hooks on the side of the handle are for wrapping and storing your transducer cable.
- Device Mount: A compatible Garmin Striker fishfinder or echoMAP chartplotter can be mounted to the base with the included device mounting arms and hardware. (Phillips screwdriver required) See below for a list of compatible devices.
- Portable Bag: The base with the attached device mount and handle, along with your fishfinder/chartplotter and transducer fit into the sturdy storage bag.
- Battery with charger: The WP7-12 rechargeable sealed lead-acid battery (12V, 7Ah, 28W) powers your fishfinder/chartplotter for hours. A plug-in AC adapter/battery charger is included.
- Transducer Mount with float: Your sonar transducer can be attached to the side or bottom of your boat with the included suction cup. The mount includes an arm to manage your transducer cable. If you are ice fishing or using the kit on the dock, you can float the transducer with included tubular foam float.
