Overview: The DJI Mic is a dual-channel wireless microphone system comprised of an AST01 Transmitter/Microphone and an ASR01 Receiver, providing clear, professional-level recording of vocals, instruments, and environmental sounds. Operating in the 2.4GHz band, the DJI Mic can transmit clear audio signals up to 820' (250 m) in an outdoor, obstruction-free environment, and can store up to 14 hours of recorded audio.

AST01 Transmitter: The DJI Mic wireless Transmitter is lightweight and compact, featuring a built-in omnidirectional microphone and attached clothing-clip. A magnetic mount is also included, allowing the mic to be placed on clothing where the clothing-clip isn't suitable. The Transmitter's built-in 320mAh rechargeable battery can provide up to 5-1/2 hours or operation time.

Internal Memory: The AST01 Transmitter features 8 GB of internal memory, letting you store up to 14 hours of recorded audio in 48kHz/24-bit mono WAV format. Extended recording files will be separated automatically into 30 minute blocks. Once the memory is full, the oldest recorded audio will be overwritten. Stored audio can be exported to a computer via the USB-C port.
External Mic Input: A 3.5mm TRS input lets you connect an optional external microphone (sold separately).

Note: A connected microphone must not be 24V or 48V powered.

USB-C: A USB-C port lets you connect the AST01 to a computer for copying audio and updating the firmware. The USB port is also used for charging the internal rechargeable battery, either from a connected computer or using an optional USB power supply (sold separately).
Linking: The included DJI AST01 Transmitter and ASR01 Receiver come pre-linked to each other, but can be manually linked using the Link button, if the need arises.
Charging Pad: A charging pad on the bottom of the Transmitter allows the internal battery to be recharged using an optional DJI Charging Case (sold separately).
Status LED: A status LED on the Transmitter can indicate the connection status with the receiver, the battery level while charging, as well as the status of the Transmitter while recording.
Windscreen: A microphone windscreen is included to help suppress wind and background noise for clear recordings.

ASR01 Receiver: The DJI Mic wireless Receiver features an OLED touchscreen, letting you view real-time audio levels, wireless signal strength, recording modes, receiver and transmitter battery levels, and more. The ASR01 is able to record up to two sound sources simultaneously (additional AST01 Transmitter required and sold separately). Three Recording Mode settings let you choose; Mono, for use with one transmitter or combining the signals from two transmitters; Mono Safety, a second "safety track" is recorded at -6dB in case the main track gets distorted due to a sudden increase in audio level; Stereo (requires two AST01 Transmitters), the audio from two transmitters will be separated into left and right channels. The Receiver's built-in 320mAh rechargeable battery can provide up to 5 hours or operation time.

USB-C: A USB-C port lets you connect the Receiver to a computer for updating the firmware, or for use as a micrphone for the computer. The USB port is also used for charging the Receiver from a computer or optional USB power supply (sold separately).
Expansion Port: Lets you mount the Receiver to a camera for recording and transmitting audio using the provided hot shoe adapter and 3.5mm TRS audio cable. Two mobile phone adapters (Lightning and USB-C) are included for connecting the Receiver to a smartphone. Wireless audio from the Receiver is transmitted to the phone for recording and storage, and for playback once the Receiver is disconnected from the phone.
Audio Output: A 3.5mm TRS audio output can be used for passing audio out to a camera audio input.
Monitor Port: A 3.5mm headphone jack on the Receiver lets you monitor the audio from the Transmitter.
Charging Pad: A charging pad on the bottom of the Receiver allows the internal battery to be recharged using an optional DJI Charging Case (sold separately).
